MANNINGTON – First Exchange Bank is excited to officially break ground in the South Fairmont area. Their new location will be located on the corner of Nasa Boulevard and U.S. Route 250 across from Dan Cava Toyota World.

“It has great customer access and visibility from Interstate 79 and U.S. Route 250, which will provide a great branding opportunity for us. We plan to take full advantage of this opportunity by locating a state of the art facility including a retail branch, operations center and our corporate headquarters at the new facility which will contain more than 12,500 square feet” stated Bill Goettel, CEO of First Exchange Bank.

“The new facility at the intersection of US Route 250 and NASA Blvd. will be the cornerstone of our mission to be North Central West Virginia’s premier regional bank. This project has underscored our commitment to North Central West Virginia as we have partnered with local companies Omni Associates Architects, City Construction Co. and Cook Brothers Incorporated to develop the new location.” Goettel continued.

“With the help of Omni Associates we have developed an innovative branch delivery system with unique characteristics and we are excited to kick off this project. Once the facility is complete we are certain our customers will experience what sets First Exchange Bank apart as a customer focused financial institution and a premier community bank.” Stated Brent Skidmore, Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer of First Exchange Bank.

Goettel noted “The new facility will not impact customer service at our Mannington branch or other locations in our primary footprint. “We expect to maintain our full service branch network throughout Marion, Wetzel and Monongalia counties and maintain the same excellent customer service at these locations while offering our customers an additional alternative with our new South Fairmont location. Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer service to each of our customers and that will not change.”

“The project has been a total team effort lead by our Board of Directors and our Site Committee consisting of Jim Boyers, Buddy Myers, Kevin Wilfong, Bill Yoho and myself, with Kevin Wilfong leading the charge as the Committee’s Chairman.”  Goettel continued.

First Exchange Bank is a locally owned and operated bank that has been serving the communities of Marion, Mon, and Wetzel counties since 1932. For more information on First Exchange Bank and their commercial lending products, visit www.FirstExchangeBank.com.
