What is firstCashback?
Personal checking account holders registered with firstCashback Rewards can earn 1 point for every $2 spent on signature based transactions just by swiping their First Exchange Bank debit card. Earned points can be redeemed for a variety of items, such as cashback, gift cards, or Fuel Rewards at participating BP, CITGO, and Shell fuel stations.*

*A qualifying purchase transaction means a transaction that is charged to an eligible debit card account covered by firstCashback Rewards Program and a transaction that appears on the account holder’s statement during their statement cycle. Points will be deducted for returns. No points will be earned for finance charges, fees, cash advances, convenience checks, ATM withdrawals, foreign transaction currency conversion charges or insurance charges posted to the account holder’s account. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit; used with any other offer, promotion or discount; combined with cash to obtain any awards; or, earned from or transferred to any other credit and/ or debit card, account or rewards program, unless otherwise specified. Point requirements assigned to any award and awards substituted are subject to change at any time without notice. Should an award be discontinued, it will be replaced with an award at equal or greater value or if no suitable substitution is available, the account holder will be advised to make an alternative selection or points may be returned to the accounts holder’s account.

*The personal checking account holder’s firstCashback Rewards Program earnings statement will include the number of points earned. Points do not expire. In the event the account holder redeems unearned points, the account may be charged for the actual cash difference between the cost of the award redeemed and the net value of the actual points available in the account.

When can I order an award?
Personal checking account holders may order awards at any time as long as their account is in good standing and points are redeemable from account as of the date the account holder’s redemption is processed.*

*Account must not be cancelled, closed, blocked, suspended, inactive, in delinquent, in default, or unavailable for the account holder’s use as a payment method at the time of firstCashback Rewards award is being processed.

How do I order an award?
Once logged in, account holders may shop awards by clicking the “Browse Catalog” link on the login page. Awards can be ordered using the online shopping feature at, calling customer service at (844) 334-3815, or printing an order form from If ordering a gift with the printed form, complete the form including all information requested and mail to the address printed on the form. Points for Fuel Rewards at participating BP, CITGO, and Shell fuel stations can be redeemed at the time of purchase.

How do I receive my awards?
Cash awards can take up to 5-7 days to become available within your account. Fuel Rewards at participating BP, CITGO, and Shell fuel stations can be redeemed at the time of purchase. Gift cards will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of processing order.*

*If account holder has an APO, U.S. eligible territory or internal address, please contact ScoreCard® Award Headquarters for details regarding merchandise options and shipments before ordering. Account firstholders with a P.O. Box address will need to provide a different mailing address or contact ScoreCard® Award Headquarters. An award received defective may be returned to the shipper for replacement within 30 days of delivery with parts, instructions, warranty cards, and original packaging materials.

EMV is named after its original developers: Europay, MasterCard®, and Visa, and is the global standard for credit and debit payment cards. Chip Cards have an embedded chip that allows payment information to be securely transmitted at a chip-enabled terminal. This technology provides an enhanced level of security and greater worldwide acceptance as it is already standard practice in more than 130 countries worldwide and more U.S. merchants are accepting chip cards every day.

It’s Easy to Pay at a Chip Terminal. Here’s How:

Step 1:
Insert and leave the chip end of your card into the terminal with the chip facing up.

Step 2:
Keep your card in the terminal and follow the prompts on screen.

Step 3:
Remove your card when prompted and take your receipt. You may have to sign for your purchase.

Your card is also equipped with magnetic stripe technology, so you can swipe your card at retailers that are not yet chip-enabled. For online or phone purchases, simply provide your card number and complete your transaction.

We will issue your new EMV chip debit card when your current debit card expires. If you would like to get your chip card sooner, just call or stop by your local First Exchange Bank branch and we will be happy to order you your new card today.
